Come be "boundless" and discover the beautiful language of your soul through expressive writing. Your words, your stories, and your courageously earned wisdom matter. In this sacred circle, all rules of grammar, critiques, and judgment are cast aside. We welcome, invite, and deeply witness what has been silenced, what has been unspoken, and what longs to be said through you. Together we will create a pathway to step fully, unbounded, into who we really are.

WRITING CIRCLE FORMAT

PRESENCE & INTENTION

We begin with presence and intention, dropping our awareness into our bodies and the empty spaciousness of being through breath, mindfulness, and ceremony.

WARM-UP ACTIVITY & PROMPTS

We ease into writing with a creative or experiential "warm-up" and then begin to dive deeper through the use of prompts. A specific prompt may be offered or you will be invited to use a phrase or word from a poem or quote that captures your interest.

SET A TIMER

We will freewrite for a set period of time, typically varying from 3 to 15 minutes with each prompt . This is where you are able to let go and just be open to write from your soul. There is no way you can do this wrong. In the supportive container of our circle you can let go of perfectionism, the critical voice in your head, grammar, spelling, and punctuation. The only rule is to keep you hand moving, letting your voice emerge on the page.

WITNESSING & DEEP LISTENING

After freewrites group members will be invited to read out loud what they have written. The circle commits to witnessing and deeply listening in silence, without offering comments or feedback. We receive the offering of each members voice with reverence and gratitude.

BENEDICTION

We end the group by closing our sacred circle with a blessing. Don't be surpised if the creative muse offers a unique twist to our benediction.

Co-creating a supportive and nurturing container for each person to experience a deeper connection with themselves and others.
Using expressive writing, mindful presence, witnessing, ceremony, and creativity to honor truth, vulnerability, and the authentic reclamation of women's voices.

A 5-WEEK SATURDAY GROUP

*This group is being held in-person and meets every other week*

Our first group will be an expressive art experience where we will be creating our own “imperfect” journals.

*Please note will be meeting until noon for this group only.
